As the beginning of the performance, the audience was transported back in time to witness the founding of the AUB. Silhouettes gracefully depicted the Syrian Protestant School, which laid the foundation for this esteemed institution. A powerful moment ensued as the animation showcased the date “December 1, 1867,” representing the establishment of the medical school.

The Journey Begins

An image of the first graduating class appeared, and as more students joined, their joyous celebration was depicted as they threw their hats into the air.
