Marmostra International Film Festival

We have always been interested in exploring new opportunities and challenges for our art. When we heard about the Marmostra Film Festival, we were immediately intrigued by its concept and themes. Marmostra International Film Festival is an international event that celebrates independent cinema and promotes cultural exchange. It was founded as a short film festival and has since evolved into a full-fledged international film festival. The festival is held annually in Portugal, and showcases a wide range of films from around the world. We decided to apply with our performance “Save the Earth”. We wanted to convey a message of awareness and responsibility for our planet, as well as a hope for a better future.

We were thrilled when we received the news that our performance was selected for the festival, among hundreds of other submissions from different countries. We felt honored and excited to be part of this prestigious event and to represent our country and our art on an international stage.

How was our experience at Marmostra 2023 Film Festival?

The Marmostra Film Festival took place in Tocha, Portugal, from July 21 to July 23. It was a wonderful experience for us, as we had the chance to meet and interact with other filmmakers, artists, and enthusiasts from different backgrounds and cultures. We also enjoyed watching the other short films that were screened at the festival, as they showcased a variety of styles, techniques, and perspectives on the themes of sea, environment, and traditions.

Our performance “Save the Earth” was screened on July 22, at the Largo da Fonte. We were very nervous and excited to see how the audience would react to our film. We were delighted to know that our film received a warm and positive response from the viewers, who applauded and cheered at the end. We also received many compliments and feedback from the jury, the organizers, and the other participants. We felt very proud and grateful for the recognition and appreciation of our work.

What are our plans for the future?

The Marmostra Film Festival was a memorable and rewarding experience for us, as it gave us the opportunity to share our art with a wider and diverse audience, as well as to learn from other talented and inspiring artists. We are very thankful to the festival organizers, sponsors, and partners for making this event possible and for supporting the short film industry.
