Grant from UWE-hub

In autumn 2022 Liudmyla Kyselytsia, an entrepreneur and co-founder of our Shadow Theatre Verba, has achieved a significant milestone for her business. She was awarded a  $4,000 grant from UWE-hub (Ukrainian Women Entrepreneurs), an organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women in Ukraine and abroad. This amount  could be spent on business services. Was decided to spend them on consulting and marketing agencies.

The UWE-Hub is an online platform established by CSR Ukraine and its Career Hub platform as part of the “Dream and Act” program. This platform was created to provide a comprehensive support system for women entrepreneurs who have been compelled to leave their homes after russia-Ukrainian war began, on February 24, 2022. It aims to assist women who already own their businesses, those who are in the process of starting one, or those who are planning to relocate their existing enterprises.

Beyond the monetary grant, the UWE-Hub offers a multitude of valuable resources and opportunities. It serves as a vibrant community where women entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate, and share their experiences. The platform brings together like-minded individuals who have overcome numerous challenges and adversities in Ukraine now. Through networking and mentorship programs, women can gain invaluable insights, guidance, and support from experienced professionals who have traversed similar paths.

Moreover, the UWE-Hub provides participants with an intensive learning experience. As part of the program, all participants have 24 academic hours of lectures, practical tasks, and psychological training. By equipping women with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in the ever-evolving business landscape, the UWE-Hub empowers them to achieve their goals and contribute to economic growth in war time. 

With the support of the UWE-Hub community and the resources provided by the program, now Liudmyla has the opportunity to further expand her entrepreneurial horizons.

Through we undoubtedly contributed to the enrichment of Ukrainian culture and the promotion of artistic expression. Our group has captivated audiences worldwide with their mesmerizing performances, blending dance, storytelling, and visual effects.

With the UWE-Hub grant, there is opportunity to explore new avenues for growth and development.

Receiving the UWE-Hub grant is not a reason for us to show off, we really want it to become a source of inspiration for women entrepreneurs in Ukraine and beyond.
